Di Maio, Slovenia wants to reopen 15/6

 "I thank the minister for the optimism for the reopening starting from June 15. It is very important for many of our compatriots and also for the restarting of tourism", a crucial sector for both countries. Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said this during a press conference in Ljubljana together with his Slovenian colleague Anze Logar. 

Slovenian Foreign Minister Anže Logar said that Italy is a very important neighbor, both politically and economically. "We will evaluate the epidemiological situation and the data day by day".

"We are entering the height of the summer season and to give work and oxygen to our entrepreneurs, artisans, hoteliers, restaurateurs, shopkeepers we must allow foreign tourists to arrive in Italy. So avoid blockages and discrimination", wrote the Italian minister on Facebook landed in Ljubljana. "We are very transparent with the sharing of data at the epidemiological level, we look at June 15 as the date of reopening at a European level". "The opening must be total, let's talk with the numbers, but then the choices are from each country.
