The holidays are starting ... And France Télévisions continues to support children. After having launched its courses from the start of confinement, the public audiovisual group is mobilizing the branches of France 2 and France 4 in order to help children "revise while having fun". This Monday, the organizer Alex Goude inaugurates two daily programs designed to allow young students to strengthen their knowledge before the start of the school year.
Need to review a concept? As much to treat it through various matters, including music… Implanted in the reconstituted decoration of a holiday home, the program “Les cahiers de vacances Lumni” (at 9:55 am on France 2 and at 11 am on France 4) declines in two parts. In the first, teachers tackle a theme via 3-minute lessons, supplemented with infographics and inspired by a question from a young viewer.
"Why do we say that boats and planes disappear in the Bermuda triangle? »Questions Camille, 12 years old. And immediately the teachers give examples to study the triangle in geography, in math, in history (with the pyramids of Egypt), in music (with the instrument of the same name) or in SVT, supporting experience.
The second part, it offers to discover a French region presented by a family while a teacher delivers elements on its history, its heritage, its gastronomy. Practical work (manual activities, cooking, sport) completes the picture.
A multiple choice, gifts
Another fun way to learn with "Le Jeu Lumni" on France 4 (at 1:30 p.m., Monday to Friday). At the controls of a virtual route, the friendly Alex Goude, always, who offers two children connected by videoconference to progress over 30 boxes. It is up to them to answer questions in turn, choosing the level of difficulty. The more correct answers there are, the more they advance and can win prizes.
The QCM focuses on French points ("Among these three possibilities one expresses the past. Which one: this week, in two days or in the past?"), Geography ("What color is the American continent on this map?") , science ("a duck and a frog, a fish and a bat, a seagull and a dolphin: Which proposition shows two animals that lay eggs?"), civic education…
The opportunity for the school teacher who accompanies the presenter to give leads to deepen. As a bonus, the little players do not compete but respond each on their own and therefore can win both. And use a joker (a parent by their side…).
