Epstein: Ghislaine Maxwell's mysterious husband appears

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JULY 15 - Ghislaine Maxwsell, the woman accused of being the accomplice of pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, is secretly married but refuses to reveal her husband's identity. This was revealed by Alison Moe, one of the three New York prosecutors who follows the case. For the prosecutors, the presence of the 'mysterious spouse' represents a not insignificant aspect which confirms once again the need to keep the defendant in prison, given the difficulties in establishing the real extent of the wealth available. Wealth that would increase the possibility of escape. Prosecutors therefore pointed the finger at Maxwell's lack of transparency and on the "opaque finances" available to the woman and her husband.
