At the head of the presentation of the data, the Secretary for Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti , pointed out that -as has been happening in recent days- 80% of the new reports correspond to the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), although she remarked that "there is a significant number of provinces that continue to contribute cases and there are departments that add to that contribution."

The official recalled that there are 16 areas where community transmission is registered and admitted that, in recent times, this situation has not been favorably modified in any jurisdiction.

"Not only are we increasing the areas with extended community transmission, but for weeks we did not define that none has controlled this transmission. (In the Ministry's report) we had been commenting on areas that entered (to that status) and areas that could define that they had controlled it. , (but) in recent weeks no department in the country has managed to control "the situation, he said.

To this panorama, the existence of departments that, "although they do not have transmission, are having outbreaks and conglomerates" of coronavirus is added.

The secretary stated that the "epidemiological situation is changing, with relative stability in the AMBA which is on a high plateau, but with a sustained increase in the jurisdictions that is accompanied by an increase in therapy beds."
