This was recorded by a surveillance camera on Wednesday at Bremen's main train station, as the federal police announced on Thursday.
Accordingly, the abandoned suitcase on the platform was initially treated as a potentially dangerous find.
Specialists examined the suitcase and opened it.
Inside they found clothes and three plastic bags of marijuana.
Because of the deployment, several tracks had to be closed for two hours, 18 trains were delayed.
