opened its doors despite the pandemic, but with a different sales strategy than expected.
As the restaurant owner Robert Germer reported to the Express, he signed the contract in September 2017 and wanted to open in spring 2020 after the renovation.

Despite the pandemic, things went well for the Cologne pizzeria until the next lockdown was approaching.
This gave rise to a unique idea that has never existed before: to offer fresh frozen pizza for sale.
The owner of "Alla Pappa" wanted to offer his customers more than just a delivery service and so it happened
that fresh and shock-frozen pizzas are now being sold over the counter

With prices between 5.90 euros and 7.90 euros, it is a little more expensive than the Supermark frozen pizza, but fresh and unique.
Cologne residents who fancy a delicious pizza from “Alla Pappa” can now simply put it in the oven at home and enjoy.
In terms of taste, it is the same as when you order the pizza on site.
With this idea, the Cologne pizzeria is a pioneer for other restaurants.
