(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 17 - Phil Spector, one of the most famous producers in the history of rock music, died of complications related to Covid: the website Tmz reports, quoting informed sources.
Spector, who was 80, was serving a sentence ranging from a minimum of 19 years to life in prison for the murder of Lara Clarkson.
He produced his first hit when he was still in high school, 'To Know Him is to Love Him', and tied his name to classic songs like 'Be mybaby', 'Unchained melody', until he participated in the production of 'Let it Be' by Beatles.
