Covid: stable infections and victims, intensive decline and hospitalizations

(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 29 - There are 13,574 positive alcoronavirus tests in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

The victims are 477. Yesterday the positives were 14,372 and the dead 492.


    A total of 268,750 tests (molecular and antigenic) carried out, yesterday there were 275,179.

The positivity rate is 5.05% (yesterday it was 5.2%).


    Patients in hospital are still decreasing.

Intensive care admissions for Covid-19 are down by 18 units in the balance between entries and exits compared to yesterday.

The daily admissions are 148. In total there are 2,270 people in intensive care.

In the ordinary wards, instead, 20,397 patients are hospitalized, down by 381 units compared to yesterday.


    The total cases since the beginning of the epidemic are now 2,529,070, the deaths 87,858.

The currently positive are 467,824 (-6,793 compared to yesterday).

Instead, 1,973,388 patients discharged or recovered (+19,879).

There are 445,157 people in home isolation (-6,394).


    The regions that have recorded the highest number of coronavirus positive tests in the last 24 hours are: Lombardy1.900, Emilia Romagna 1.320, Campania 1.175, Lazio 1.160, Puglia1.069, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Eight Regions continue not to report the positive results of the rapid antigen tests, according to the table of the ministry.

They are Sicily, Liguria, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Basilicata, Molise and Valled'Aosta.
