Toti's opposition to Bonaccini's proposal: 'Establish the national yellow zone'. Tomorrow three new orange regions (Campania, Emilia-Romagna and Molise) (ANSA)

A change of pace on the rules that determine the colors of the Regions, to avoid constant changes, and which links decisions to more objective parameters.

All this, however, without letting our guard down because the variants run and impose targeted and immediate tightening.

The Regions are asking this from the new government, they want a dam against infections that risk increasing progressively, but also measures that take into account the objective reality of cases in the area.

But on the possibility of an all-orange Italy, or of homogeneous restrictions for the entire national territory, there are disagreements within the Conference of the Regions.

On the proposal made yesterday by President Stefano Bonaccini, Tuscany, Campania and Lombardy agree, but the vice-president of the Conference Giovanni Toti, Ligurian governor, has expressed his opposition.

"The country expects to restart," he said.

And he proposed a national yellow zone, therefore with openings of restaurants, sports and entertainment, and to extend the passages of color especially at the provincial and municipal level.

In short, disagreements even if all regions agree on a timely communication of the measures.

And in front of a hypothetical all-orange Italy, the leader of the Lega Matteo Salvini also thundered.

"Enough with the announcements, the alarms and the preventive fears that have characterized the last few months, if there are areas more at risk, action should be taken quickly and limitedly, accelerate the vaccination plan but do not panic the entire country" , wrote on Facebook stigmatizing "unjustified and generalized lockdowns".

Meanwhile there are gatherings that, on the eve of three new orange regions (Campania, Emilia-Romagna and Molise which are added to Abruzzo, Liguria, Tuscany, Umbria, Trento and Bolzano) and thanks to the good weather, also on this Saturday they registered everywhere.

    Crowd scenes, closed streets, barriers.

Despite yesterday's ISS appeal: 'stay home'.
