(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 06 - The Dalai Lama was vaccinated against Covid today in a hospital in Dharmsala, India, where he lives. "To prevent serious problems, this injection is very, very useful," said the Tibetan Buddhist leader in exile, quoted by the Guardian.
Hospital staff said the patient, who is 85, received the Indian-made Astrazeneca vaccine, and was then observed for about 30 minutes. Ten other people living in the Dalai Lama's residence were also vaccinated. (HANDLE).
