(ANSA) - CAIRO, MARCH 11 - A fire in a clothing factory north of Cairo caused at least 20 deaths and 39 injuries were taken to two hospitals. The factory is located in the city of Obour, about 35 km north-east of Cairo and the fire broke out around 11 in the morning (10 in Italy) in the basement of the four-storey building, the statement said. 20 ambulances and 12 fire brigade vehicles were brought to the scene. the Egyptian Civil Protection "tamed the fire" and a "technical committee" was formed to ascertain whether the plant ensured the required safety conditions, the text continues.
