(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 28 - With the 344 registered in the last 24 hours, Italy has exceeded 120 thousand victims for Covid-19, according to data from the Ministry of Health. The dead are now 120,256 for accuracy. It is an increasingly frightening figure to be added in a day that sees the decline of patients in intensive care and in the ordinary wards continue; the latter, the so-called 'hospitalized with symptoms', after a long time fell below 20,000.

There are 13,385 coronavirus test positives in the last 24 hours, yesterday they were 10,404 (and 373 victims, also therefore decreasing).

336,336 molecular and antigenic swabs were carried out; yesterday the tests were 302,734. The positivity rate is 4% (+ 0.6% compared to yesterday, when it was 3.4%).

There are 2,711 patients admitted to intensive care, 37 units compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries were 168 (yesterday 177). On the other hand, 19,860 people are hospitalized in the ordinary wards, down by 452 compared to yesterday.

In total the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 3,994,894, now almost at 4 million, the deaths 120,256. The currently positive ones are instead 442,771 (-5,378 compared to yesterday), the healed and discharged 3,431,867 (+18,416). (HANDLE).
