"Eco-camper"
that travels to the mountain municipalities bringing playful activities and games: in Abruzzo, in
the Sirente Velino Regional Park
, it will be a summer in 'sign of (free) activities around the naturalistic scenery of the Sirente massif.

" - is the cooperative
AmbeCò
, environmental education center of regional interest, for over 20 years active in Abruzzo also in sustainable tourism.
The
calendar
of free guided excursions sees appointments in every place of the park
until September
: the aim is to make the territory known to everyone, especially the little ones, from a naturalistic and historical-anthropological point of view, thanks to environmental, tourist and environmental educators.

Or it is possible to participate in tournaments and team games among the
murals of Aielli

The excursions and activities on the calendar are aimed at children and families (including tourists) but the entire project also involves
the schools and municipalities
present in the park.
“The project - says
Silvia Cardarelli
, president of the Board of Ambecò - is divided into 6 months and intends to promote the protection of the environment and nature by involving the minors "citizens" of the Park, so that they become protagonists, teach a new way of relating to nature and getting to know it, arouse interest in environmental issues, gain participation and involvement through constructive discussion. Education for sustainable development, therefore, is a candidate to become the project in which to promote the skills necessary to question existing models, to improve them and to build new ones together ”.
Among the other initiatives of the project, in addition to excursions and the Ecocamper of sustainability, there is the creation of a
web-radio of the Sirente Velino Park
, managed independently by the pupils and pupils of the schools involved. The audio form was privileged because it is more suited to emotional education which is one of the aims of the project. "The sounds of nature - says Silvia Cardarelli - are such as to stimulate the ear to perceive, explore, discern and much more, the best training to accompany the child and the future adult to be curious, attentive and eager to listen for the pleasure of understanding ".
The program also
includes the participatory creation of two green areas and
nature
trails
suitable for children
together with a
Land Art
artist
, a contemporary art form characterized by the artist's intervention on the natural territory.
The project is funded with the contribution of the Department for family policies and has the patronage of the Sirente Velino Regional Park, the Park's Environmental Education Center, WWF Abruzzo Montano, the Chamois Visitor Center of the Rovere wildlife area, Municipality of Rocca di Mezzo , Casale Sherpa Environmental Education Center.
