The police in Kaiserslautern are concerned with an unusual - but not very painful for those attacked - attack.
A 27-year-old is said to have thrown Berliners at two bakery salespeople in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The background was apparently jealousy: She is said to have taken one of the women for the lover of her boyfriend, as the police said.
Accordingly, the man had forgotten his cell phone on the sales counter of the bakery on Thursday afternoon.
When his partner tried to reach him, a strange woman answered the phone.
The 27-year-old assumed that her boyfriend was having an affair and that his lover answered the phone.
Report on suspicion of insult
Then, according to the police, she went to the bakery, bought the fresh pastries and attacked the saleswomen with the pastries.
She insulted the women and pelted the Berliners.
Then she left the bakery.
The alleged attacker did not speak to the police about the incident.
They are now being charged with suspicion of insult.
Her friend reportedly noticed shortly before the attack that he had forgotten his cell phone and picked it up at the bakery.
