(ANSA) - MILAN, 11 NOV - "We have been abandoned": is the alarm of the director of the Braidense Library in Milan James Bradburne, explaining that in 2005 there were 32 active librarians, while now there are only two.
"I cannot complain about the Braidense crisis only, libraries everywhere in this country are threatened with closure", underlines Bradburne, for which "it is too late for a patch answer".
What the director of the Brera Art Gallery is asking for is "the autonomy of choosing people with local competitions".
