A representative survey has shown that women are more cautious than men when it comes to salary negotiations on the job.
The question of more salary * is often anything but pleasant in working life.
This could lead to rejection from the boss, one of the possible fears.
According to a survey by the market research institute YouGov of 2,000 respondents, men are more likely than women to dare to ask their employer about a raise.
According to this, every third woman (33 percent) has asked for a
salary increase
in the course of her career , while for men it is almost every second (45 percent), as the German Press Agency (dpa) reported on the occasion of the survey.

Above all, it is a lack of courage and fear of rejection that makes employees shy away from making a claim, according to the study.
