(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, DEC 27 - Lucio Dalla's songs will become a musical, which will debut in Bologna in 2023, 80 years after the artist's birth.
It will be built on an unpublished story marked by the greatest hits of its boundless repertoire.
The show will be produced by Sergio De Angelis and Fabio Massimo Colasanti (who also holds the role of artistic director of the project), in collaboration with Daniele Caracchi, president of the Pressing Line (historic label founded by Lucio himself).
Original subject and script will be by Alessandra Della Guardia and Urbano Lione.
In the coming months the title will be unveiled and the casting will begin.
The show will be sponsored by the Lucio Dalla Bologna Foundation will be one of the protagonists of this new important production, a musical and theatrical experience that comes from the authors and producers of Musicanti, the musical with the songs of Pino Daniele who, for two consecutive seasons - between 2018 and 2020 - has thrilled entire audiences in Italy.
