It was during this period that the phenomenon of "insurance" of cards was born, which is required to be paid by the consumer who fears that he will be forced to cancel his card.
In light of inquiries from readers, we decided to make an order to understand when it can be canceled and what the conditions are for it.

Eventim and Zappa offer a "peace of mind" service, which allows the customer to retroactively cancel a ticket purchase transaction and receive a full refund, even when he has no right to cancel under the Consumer Protection Law, and the payment for the service is worth 6% of the order, including handling and shipping.
The refund is made after notification of the cancellation of the transaction using a suitable form, up to 48 hours before the start of the show.
By law, the right to cancel a transaction after purchasing tickets is in accordance with the manner in which the transaction was made: if it was made online / over the phone, it can be canceled within 14 days of being executed or receiving a proper disclosure form.
The dealer may charge a cancellation fee of 5% of the amount paid, or NIS 100 - whichever is lower.
A frontal transaction (at the business) can be canceled by notifying the office from which the tickets were purchased, within 14 days from the date of the transaction, and provided that it is canceled up to 14 days before the date of the event.
However, due to the situation, some businesses also consider customers who have not purchased insurance and want to cancel the card.
Should the requirement for insurance be imposed on the consumer, or on the sellers of the show?
