(ANSA) - NEW YORK, FEB 14 - The number of people who want to get married in Las Vegas has registered a real boom.
There has been an increase in applications, according to reports from the US media's marriage licensing office, and Clark County employee Lynn Goya explained that more than 80,000 marriage certificates are expected to be reached in 2022.
For the month of February the estimates speak of "numbers that would be the greatest in recent years", as reported by some chapels.
Already in 2021, over 77 wedding licenses were issued.
"There's a reason Las Vegas is the wedding capital of the world," Goya said of how easy it is to get married in Clark County.
From the bureaucratic operations to the chapels, through to the wedding planner, "everything is easy and stress-free for couples, who can thus concentrate on the party and on having fun without worries".
