In Bavaria, a supervisor of leisure events for children is said to have sexually abused girls for years.

As the police in Landshut announced on Monday, they are investigating the suspicion "that there were multiple cases of sexual abuse between the accused and at least seven affected girls aged between seven and eleven between 2015 and 2021".

An arrest warrant was issued against the man, but it was suspended due to conditions.

According to the information, the Landshut Kripo was first informed in February that there was suspicion of sexual abuse against the supervisor from the Landshut district during a summer camp seven years ago.

The man's home was then searched.

The data carriers confiscated in the process are still being evaluated.

The suspect has since made a confession.

The arrest warrant against him was suspended on the condition that the man stays away from children and young people under the age of 16.

Investigators did not provide any further details on the case.
