During her farewell to the Caribbean, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a dress that traveled through time and wardrobes.

End clap for Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge bowed out in the Bahamas on Saturday March 26 in an 80s-inspired dress, after an official tour punctuated by her diplomatic appearances as well as her sophisticated outfits.

Puffy sleeves, bow at the neckline and ruffles at the waist… This dress created by Alessandra Rich stood out from the previous ones, worn during the couple's eight-day official stay in the Caribbean.

Prince William's wife had indeed started her journey by wearing a blue lace peplum dress, an elegant and classic creation from the American label Tory Burch.

This time, with its yellow color and floral patterns, this new outfit made an impression with its bold architecture.

Nothing is less certain about Ukraine, but the Duchess of Cambridge has certainly paid tribute to Princess Diana.

For her first official tour of Australia in 1983, the Princess of Wales had indeed worn a dress imbued with a poetry similar to that of Kate Middleton.

Pussy bow, 80s-style shoulder pads and poppy motifs, designer Jan Van Velden's pastel yellow model shows how much Lady Di's look remains in people's minds today, starting with that of her daughter-in-law.

An eternal source of inspiration.
