Deshant Adhikari's parents first noticed their son's upbringing when he was just five days old.
They consulted with local doctors in their town in Nepal, as well as with international doctors, with the aim of removing him - before a local cleric claimed that their son might be a god incarnate.
Since then the parents have felt pride in their son and encouraged him to love his unusual tail.
The 16-year-old Dshant admits that at first he was ashamed of the addition that extended to her from his tailbone and hid it in his pants.
Today he no longer hides it and after going viral on social media, he is also proud of his unique condition.
He said in a video posted on YouTube: "My parents wanted me to expose the tail and I agreed. Today I do not feel any discomfort showing it."
He added: "My video went viral on Tiktok and now a lot of people know me as 'the kid with the tail' and I feel good about it."
The filmmaker, Posker Nepal, who interviewed Dashant and photographed his strange tail, added: "His parents did not know about his condition until they took him home from the hospital, five days after he was born. Since then they have taken him to several local hospitals and even abroad in search of suitable treatment. , But no effort was able to stop the growth of the tail.
They later consulted priests and were told not to comb or use any tool to cut the tail.
The priests even pointed out that the child may have some supernatural power, since he may be the incarnation of the noman, to the monkeys.
The parents allowed the tail
to grow naturally and stopped seeking treatment.
