(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 06 - The Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Ettore Sequi renewed the condemnation of the Russian Ambassador Sergey Razov for the unjustified attack on Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
Sequi - reads a note - reiterated the hope of the Italian government that soon a negotiated solution to the conflict may be reached, which is less than equitable and respects Ukrainian sovereignty and the principles of international law.
Finally, he stressed the importance of quickly defining an agreement to unblock grain exports from Ukrainian ports in order to avoid serious consequences for global food security.
