(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 14 - Martina Patti, 23, has confessed to the carabinieri and attorney at having killed her 5-year-old daughter Elena.

But in the interrogation, still in progress, she did not know how and why she would have committed the crime.

The kidnapping was a staged to cover up the murder.
