The Association of Rural Landscapes of Historical Interest is born

 From the terraced hills of Valpolicella to the lemon groves of Amalfi up to the dry stone walls that distinguish the traditional crops on the island of Pantelleria, passing through the olive grove between Spoleto and Assisi and the hills of Pienza and Montepulciano: the 27 rural landscapes of historical interest registered in the National Register they officially formed an association under the banner of a green policy that links sustainable Italy with natural and food and wine excellence.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the institutional representatives of the landscapes took place today with the signing of the deed of incorporation of the Pris Association at the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (Mipaaf).

The initiative comes following the first Congress of Rural Landscapes of Historic Interest (Pris), held in Florence last autumn, during which the foundations were laid for the birth of the Association of Landscapes of Historic Interest.

The Pris Association will act - informs a note - as an institutional interlocutor at regional but also national and European level.
