The slate burns hands
“If you touch the slates, you burn your hands,” says Tony Raquidel.
15 departments in the west of France are placed on red heat wave vigilance.
In the Yvelines, the alert is still orange.
"Winter is not better, when it's windy, rainy, unfortunately that's part of the job," explains Sébastien Robert, manager of the Couvreurs de Neauphle.
