The French Minister of Sport, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, today evoked the possibility that in 2024 the Tour de France of bicycles will arrive in Nice rather than Paris, to avoid the accumulation of too many sporting events, given that the capital of France will host in the same period the Olympic Games.
According to sources close to the government, this is "one working hypothesis among many".
The 2024 Paris Olympics will take place exactly in two years, from 26 July to 11 August 2024, with great logistical and security 'challenges', even more so in light of the chaos that occurred at the entrances to the Stade de France on the occasion of the last Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
