(ANSA) - COPENHAGEN, 01 NOV - According to the exit polls, no co-coalition would have obtained a majority in the anticipated elections held in Denmark, which would strengthen the forecasts of a centrist government.
The consultations became necessary after the resignation of the premier social democrat Matte Fredriksen following the so-called 'mink sandal' (the killing of millions of specimens in the unfounded conviction of thus stemming the Covid-19 pandemic).
In the running are a center-right and a center-left bloc, plus a new party of 'Moderates' founded by the former premier Rasmussen, and a nationalist right-wing, the 'Danmarksdemokraterne'.
