A 22-year-old student, Miriam Ciobanu, was run over and killed by an SUV last night in Pieve del Grappa (Treviso) as she walked along the roadside.
Driving the car was a 23-year-old resident who at the end of the carabinieri's surveys was arrested for road murder.
He was returning home from a party and tested positive for alcohol and drugs.
It seems that the girl was outside at that time, walking, after having had a fight with her boyfriend.
