The New York brand Tommy Hilfiger invites British designer Martine Rose for a capsule collection under the Tommy Jeans label.
The one who has been exploring different masculinities with her own label since 2007, and as a consultant for Balenciaga, naturally offers an offbeat vision of the preppy wardrobe.
Imbued with references to American popular culture, the collection merges streetwear codes with prints of palm tree shirts from Hawaii or striped ones from the Upper East Side.
The icing on the cake, the campaign photographed by Buck Ellison offers a reinterpretation of the imagery of suburban life, featuring couples of men in a watered-down Miami suburb.
A unisex collection, of course.

Blossoming alliance: Barbour announces that it is partnering with Ganni, a well-known Danish fashion name.
One was born in 1894 in Scotland, the other in Denmark in 2000. And their story begins in Copenhagen, during the last Fashion Week where “Re-Loved” was presented.
An unprecedented collaboration of 50 outdoor pieces, from the British archives, with the touch of the Scandinavian designer: coats and jackets, whose fabrics are recycled, and for some come from dormant stocks.
This collaboration did not stop there.
Since November 1, nine pieces have been added to the business, also designed with a responsible approach.

Burberry's Big Adventure in Minecraft

Burberry launches a special collection and a video game in partnership with Minecraft.

It's an adventure as virtual as it is physical called “Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond”.
And this is a first, both for the British label and the Minecraft video game.
Here, it is therefore a question of an adventure coupled with a mini-collection available in limited edition which offers a passage between reality and the virtual.
Sweaters, scarves or even trench coats, these clothes have been designed in duplicate, to be able to match the avatars' clothes to this exclusive wardrobe.
And beyond the game, a commitment is taking shape between Burberry and Minecraft: the label announces that part of the profit generated by this collaboration will be devoted to financing the protection of 500,000 trees, and the planting of 25,000 trees around the world.

The Chanel cruise in Miami

After her first performance there at the Hotel Monte-Carlo Beach last May, Chanel is treating herself to a sunny second installment of her Cruise 2023 collection in Miami on November 4.
On the beach of the Faena hotel, the luxury brand takes a moment to once again appreciate the work of Virginie Viard, artistic director of Chanel.
For the occasion, in a fraternal tandem, directors Sofia and Roman Coppola stage models Blesnya Minher, HyunJi Shin, Mariam de Vinzelle and Vivienne Rohner in a film shot in Monaco.
This short film embraces the universe of the Rock and Florida, like a bridge between places, so far and so close at the same time.
Images of boats and motor racing mingle with palm trees and deckchairs on the beach on the American East Coast.

, by the Australian group Tame Impala, the leader of the group Kevin Parker passed in front of the lens of Hedi Slimane, artistic director of the Parisian label.
The musician is dressed and staged in a series of black and white portraits by the designer on the Côte d'Azur, with the Mediterranean Sea in the background.
Photos which are added to the “portrait of a musician” portfolio which not only presents the artist, but also illustrates him in his universe.

Arket settles in France

Arket sets down its suitcases for the first time in the heart of the Marais, in Paris.

The Swedish brand Arket is packing its bags in Paris.
The premium label of the H&M group created in 2017 has taken up residence in a 400m² space, in the heart of the Marais.
The place extends over two floors, in a refined Scandinavian style, and offers men's, women's and children's fashion as well as a corner dedicated to the home: candles and decorations can be found at 13 rue des Archives.
This space, smaller than the 24 stores already established across the mode, resonates like a first test cocoon within France.
And to complete the Arket range, a vegetarian café-restaurant on the ground floor is run by Martin Berg, executive chef of a starred restaurant in Sweden.
The café-restaurant also has a terrace, for the return of sunny days.

Balibaris launches its second limited edition capsule collection.

The Balibaris woman is back.
The brand, initially masculine, launched its first women's capsule collection in the fall of 2021. This year, the brand's founder, Paul Szczerba is repeating the experience and betting on timeless pieces, faithful to his brand identity whose DNA is based on a contemporary and unadorned wardrobe.
This results in high waisted pants, oversized shirts and jacket and skirt sets.
