“Star Academy”: Carla and Paola eliminated by the public

At the end of the fourth prime time of the TF1 reality show, marked by a few moments of emotion and a few failures, Carla and P

A duel of duos and, therefore, a double elimination.

This Saturday evening, at the “Star Academy” (TF 1, 9:10 p.m.), four girls were in the hot seat, two by two: on one side, the inseparable Léa and Tiana;

on the other, the modest Carla and Paola.

“There will be only eight left in Dammarie-les-Lys,” warned Nikos Aliagas at the start of the program, solemnly detaching the syllables.

The public has chosen and decided to keep the first ones at the château.

No wonder… During their first visit, Carla and Paola had offered a nice interpretation of “Fever” by Dua Lipa and Angèle.

Question fever, we were not really on fire.

“Everyone had a good time, right?

summed up singing teacher Adeline Toniutti with indulgence.

On "Quand on n'a que l'amour" by Jacques Brel, Léa and Tiana were more powerful, even moving.

“I'm going to call the make-up artist again because my make-up is coming off,” commented the teacher.

But it was the "last chance battle" that decided the candidates.

And, invited to resume “My Philosophy” by Amel Bent at the same time as their competitors, Léa and Tiana folded the match.

The evening had started like a diesel engine, with a hymn sung feverishly by a hypotonic troupe.

Fortunately, Nikos had announced it: surprises were going to spice up the show.

While she was thinking of singing “Sous le vent” with Julien, Anisha saw Garou, the original performer of the duo, arrive at the microphone.

Fingers spread in amazement on her cheeks, the brunette with first-class attitudes stoically played Celine Dion in front of the crooner.

"I've lost my means," she then blurted out, as if to go fishing for compliments.

Camille Lellouche and Enola's "suspended moment"

In a highly tearful sequence, Chris' mother and sister sat across from him as he covered Slimane's "I'll be there".

"There's nothing more beautiful than the relationship you can have with your father or your mother", punctuated Slimane, in case a tear would have remained stuck in the eye of a viewer.

At the end of the show, the hairy Julien was joined by his brother Mathieu Canaby, who came to accompany him on the piano on “Imagine” by John Lennon… Mathieu who?

If so, one of the participants of the thirteenth season of "New Star" in 2017!

But it was Camille Lellouche, on the piano, and the pretty Enola who gave us the most shivers with "Don't judge me", in a very sober staging and a black and white decor.

“A suspended moment”, commented Nikos Aliagas, and this time, we agreed.

If the interpretation of "Fever" (the other, that of Peggy Lee) by Enola and Élodie Frégé in a cabaret setting was rather sexy, we were downright bored during a medley on cinema hits and we suffered for a Gaëtan Roussel flanked by Julien and Stanislas taking up the electric "J't'emmène au vent" by Louise Attaque.

The two candidates thought more about jumping, heating up the room and dropping their shirt than singing.

“Well done to both of you!

launched Slimane at the end of the title.

Serious ?

From this fourth bonus, we will also remember the always benevolent smile of Michael Goldman, the director of “Star Ac”.

And this lesson in philosophy given by Nikos that the candidates would do well to meditate on: “It is because we doubt that we are moving forward”.
