After the live auditions of the 42artists, in Room A in via Asiago, which involved the Music Commission chaired by the artistic director of the Amadeus Festival, and composed by the prime time deputy director Federica Lentini, the author Massimo Martelli, the maestro LeonardoDe Amicis, were selected the first 8 finalists.

Only the first 3, among the 12 finalist artists, according to the Regulations, will then have the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Ariston Theater as "Big" during the 73rd edition of the Sanremo Italian Song Festival.
