The gold leaf met with little understanding from the supermarket customer.
A customer just shook her head while shopping in the supermarket and showed her discovery to the public: a product that costs 3,000 euros per kilo!
Berlin – Inflation in Germany is causing problems for many.
Because it also affects consumers in the supermarkets.

Monja Schünemann made a discovery of a different kind.
The author of the book "Der Pflege-Tsunami" was out shopping before Christmas.
She found a product on the shelf that amazed her.
"As long as there is DAS in the supermarket, we don't have too little money in Germany," she writes on Twitter and shows what she noticed: According to the two photos, the supermarket offers gold leaf packets.
Five sheets for 44.99 euros.
According to the information, a kilo price of almost unbelievable 2999.33 euros.
Of course, it has not been confirmed that the sign and the price per kilo are real, but both look authentic.
She came across the gold leaf in the upscale supermarket "Frischeparadies" in Berlin, Schünemann explains

There she bought individual noble products for Christmas.
Certainly not the gold leaf.
"We are primarily talking about solidarity and I think that's where the gap between rich and poor shows in its strangest form," she says angrily.
"Some can't heat, some people eat gold leaf."
Gold leaf always causes discussions
The use of gold to refine food was already a topic of discussion at Franck Ribéry.
During his FC Bayern days, the footballer treated himself to a gold steak and was sometimes harshly criticized for it.
Even several Twitter users can't do much with the expensive product.
"No, some people just have too much money," wonders one person.
"Anyone who buys that has a money shit at home.
