It is a small symbol of the limits of man in the fight against the forces of nature.
This clearing vehicle itself became a victim of the snowstorm and can only be freed with robust effort.
Vehicles that have broken down, like here in Fairport, New York, dominate the picture, some are completely covered by snowdrifts.
Around 500 people were temporarily stuck in their cars.

And she attacked us with everything she had from Thursday night until now.
This will go down as the deadliest storm in history.
And Buffalo has seen many battles and bad storms.”
The drastic words are an expression of the force with which the snowstorm hit the northeastern United States and parts of Canada in particular.
Temperatures around minus 40 degrees in places, three meters of snow within 24 hours, and widespread power failures - the situation became life-threatening for many people.
According to previous reports, more than 30 people died, but the final number is likely to rise.
And: The storm may have passed, but the cold remains - even in the south of the country, where frost is a rarity.
Not to mention double-digit minus degrees.
