It was predictable but it's still encouraging: Pierre de Maere was crowned male revelation of the year, and that's the only good news from a Victoires de la Musique ceremony completely off the mark.
The day before the evening, the young man was worried about not being able to sing there properly, prevented by a sore throat.
"I don't know what exactly happened: I lost my voice."
This bad news, however, does not hinder the grace or elegance of this 21-year-old singer to whom a bright future seems promised, but who still doubts his vocal abilities.

“I have the impression of having found myself in the mouth of the wolf. My fifth concert was at La Cigale, and since I didn't have a solid base to lean on vocally, I had a side stitch after 20 minutes. he explains with a devastating smile.
