(ANSA) - PARIS, FEBRUARY 22 - A teacher at a private Catholic school in Saint-Jean-de Luz, in southwestern France, died after being stabbed by a pupil: according to the Bayonne prosecutor's office.
"I can confirm that there was an attack with a knife and that the victim has just died," said the prosecutor, Jérôme Bourrier, quoted by France Presse.
The student was stopped by the police.
The Minister of Education, Pap Ndiaye, is expected on site in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the French Basque Country, not far from the border with Spain.
