The beginning of the week arrives
again with very high temperatures,
for which the National Meteorological Service launched a red alert for the City of Buenos Aires and the suburbs due to extreme heat, which will have peaks of up to 34 degrees shortly before 4:00 p.m.
This Monday is presented with
clear skies in the morning and somewhat cloudy in the afternoon
, an estimated temperature of 25 degrees minimum and 34 maximum, and winds from the north rotating east, reported the SMN.
The meteorological agency maintains a
red alert for extreme temperatures for the area
, which means they have a "high to extreme effect on the health" of the population and can be very dangerous even for healthy people.
It reaches the City of Buenos Aires and the southern districts of the GBA, such as Berisso, Ensenada, La Plata, Cañuelas, Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, Berazategui, Lanús, Florencio Varela, Quilmes, Lomas de Zamora, President Perón, Esteban Echeverría, Merlo, La Matanza and Ezeiza.

There will also be an orange alert for Escobar, San Fernando, Tigre, Vicente López, San Isidro, San Martín, Ituzaingó, José C. Paz, Malvinas, Moreno, Morón, Pilar and San Fernando.
This Tuesday, meanwhile,
a day with partly to mostly cloudy skies
and a temperature of 23 degrees minimum and 33 maximum is expected.
Partly cloudy skies are also expected on Wednesday
with a temperature of 23 degrees
minimum and 34 maximum.
Temperatures will remain
high at least until Friday,
when the first alerts for precipitation arrive.
At the end of the week the temperature will be more pleasant, with highs around 29 degrees.
In Córdoba, for its part, the SMN issued
a storm alert for the southwestern
and central areas of the province, and the east of San Luis.
A maximum temperature of 34 degrees is expected for this Monday.

"The area will be affected by storms, some locally strong. They may be accompanied by
intense gusts, significant electrical activity, occasional hail
and abundant rainfall in short periods," the SMN reported.
Accumulated precipitation values between 25 and 45 mm are expected, and may be exceeded occasionally.
Neuquén and Río Negro, for their part,
face alerts due to strong winds in the western zone
, adjacent to the mountain range.
The area will be affected by winds from the west sector with speeds between 50 and 75 km/h, and gusts that can exceed 100 km/h, according to the SMN.
