(ANSA) - TURIN, 03 APR - Stellantis has started the selection of internal personnel to be employed in the activities of its first Circular Economy Hub in Mirafiori.
In the coming months, the first 200 workers and employees of Stellantis in Italy will also be identified who will be involved on the production and management front.
The further increase in employment will be correlated to the production increase of the plant.
Where necessary, specific training will be provided.
This - explains Stellantis - allows progress on this important initiative for the company: promoting a sustainable business model is a fundamental pillar in the company's decarbonisation strategy, which has the goal of eliminating net CO2 emissions by 2038.
The Circular Economy business unit, which represents a further step forward in the implementation of the Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, aims to generate over 2 billion euros in revenues by 2030, quadrupling the revenues deriving from the extension of the useful life of components and increasing by 10 times, compared to 2021, the revenues obtained from recycling.
