The stories of three young entrepreneurs who broke into the market and impact society with new technologies.

Innovative ideas represent a key force in the

digital transformation of companies

.

For the most part, the most disruptive technological developments are driven by young entrepreneurs under 30 years of age.

They adapt to the constant changes in the market in search of solutions that solve problems and needs of society.

Matías Massotti (26) is the creator of Go Doctor, a telemedicine application;

Ramiro Gonzalez Forcada (29) is the creator of The Flock, a site that connects workers with freelance companies, and Nicolás Kovalsky (30), is the founder of Kovix, a digital transformation company that began operating from software development to measure.

Clarín

spoke with them to learn about the benefits of their achievements and understand why they impact society with their creations.

Why did you choose to be an entrepreneur?

From working in a fast food joint to making it big in Silicon Valley.

This is how the story of

Matías Massotti

could be summed up .

Originally from Don Torcuato, Buenos Aires province, he began working at the age of 16 in a fast food chain, while finishing high school.

At McDonald's he went through different positions until he became manager and manager of an entire store.

He was also a salesperson, a call center supervisor, and an account executive at a bank.

In each job he incorporated a quality that he later applied in his life as an entrepreneur.

At the hamburger joint he learned the value of punctuality, to perform different tasks, to compete and to deal with superiors.

Matías Massotti, the young creator of Go Doctor.

“We are Argentines, there is no challenge that we cannot take.

I think entrepreneurship chose me, it's not something I went looking for.

I don't believe in luck or destiny, but in the willingness to take something to make it happen.

There are always opportunities that we can take advantage of.

Mine was at 22, when my parents kicked me out of the house.

The situation prompted me to be prepared with my mind to embark on entrepreneurship ”, she assumes.

Ramiro Gonzalez Forcada

is a business administrator and public accountant.

His first work experience was at Ernst & Young at the age of 19, in the consumer audit area.

He co-founded an online tourism company and worked at Banco Galicia in a Young Professionals program.

In that position, he became convinced that his passion was in startups.

The next step was to join the team of an Argentine startup called Emporio Commerce.

Later, he freelanced on various projects and other companies until he created The Flock.

“I chose to be an entrepreneur because I have always been interested in participating in

processes of change

.

Entrepreneurship in technology implies pushing paradigm changes and that challenge inspires me”, he admits.

Ramiro González Forcada, creator of The Flock platform

The first years of

Nicolás Kovalsky

as a secondary student, at the ORT Technical School, offered him the opportunity to learn from teachers who accompanied and instructed him in his professional search.

“I remember that at the age of 8 I went on a trip with my father to Disney.

That adventure made me curious to know how things work and made me start to ask myself questions”, he reveals.

He studied Electronic Engineering at the National Technical University (UTNP), but switched to Systems Engineering, graduating at the age of 24.

In 2021, she completed a Master of Business Administration at the IAE Business School.

“YouTube and online courses supplemented my education with immediately applicable technical skills.

The great demand for these skills allowed me a quick job opportunity that consisted of developing document management software for the UTN”, she admits.

Nicolás Kovalsky, creator of Kovix

Three disruptive technologies: Go doctor, Flock and Kovix

Go Doctor

(https://godoctorapp.com/) is an award-winning telemedicine platform in the United States that provides a solution to the global problem of access to health.

It seeks to improve the way in which hospital institutions provide their services, virtually connecting the doctor with the patient in less than 5 minutes and anywhere in the world.

The service operates every day of the year and 24 hours a day.

How does it work?

The application offers the possibility of having a digital medical history, receiving a diagnosis, obtaining prescriptions and orders for studies.

According to the data compiled by Massotti, 96% of the patients who were treated with Go Doctor resolved their problem in the consultation, without being referred to a doctor in person.

Go Doctor (https://godoctorapp.com/) is a telemedicine platform.

“Using it is very simple, you open the app or go to the website, press the START VIDEO CONSULTATION button, fill in the basic information and choose a medical specialty.

A few seconds later, you have a Go Doctor connected and at your disposal”, says Massotti.

And he highlights: “Only 4 people out of 100 who consulted us went to a health institution because their case required it.

For these establishments it is cheaper and we ensure that physical locations do not collapse so that they can serve more people in less time, providing

quality care

”.

While telemedicine apps are nothing new and private medicine companies abound around the world, Massotti stands apart from that industry.

Because?

Go Doctor is not a virtual prepaid.

It is a service that can be acquired from a person who requires a doctor to a chain of gyms to give it as a benefit to their clients.

It can also be used by employees from a company to a health or prepaid institution to expand the range of medical services provided to its members.

“We have the function of providing the service and technology to these companies to reach more people.

The vision and the developments we plan differentiate us.

Telemedicine is just the bridge that connects the person with their health care, ”she explains.

In addition, the application is in full development of two novelties:

payment with cryptocurrencies and a chatbot with artificial intelligence

so that patients can have control of some vital signs, without having to leave their home or require specific equipment.

The Flock

(https://www.theflock.com/) is a platform that allows freelance tech talent to validate their skills and connect with organizations globally.

It allows anyone, from the comfort of their home, to work for different companies around the world.

“Accompanying, pushing and building the infrastructure for that to happen is something incredible.

We already have 50% of Generation Z working as freelancers.

Latin American talent must be integrated into the best opportunities in the world, and the world requires these trained people to boost their organizations”, analyzes González Forcada.

The Flock, the venture created by Ramiro González Forcada.

It is a platform of technological talent.

How does it work?

"As an independent talent, you register and are invited to join the community. Then, you will go through a validation process that delves into your skills, languages, and your personal and cultural aspects. After this stage, users receive invitations to participate in projects of different companies around the world: you can choose how much you want to earn and you are part of a work team", he explains.

"Within the community you find peers, mentoring programs, opportunities to take courses and continue learning new skills," González Forcada completes, describing this type of company as

an evolution of the link between freelancers and companies

.

Unlike other platforms, The Flock focuses on building and managing teams to execute projects.

“Digital product development projects are usually complex because they require multidisciplinary teams, with different profiles.

Many companies are not prepared to work on remote teams with different time zones," he notes.

Kovix (https://kovix.co/) is a digital

transformation

company

, which started from the development of custom software.

“Over time, we began to understand that technology was no more than a tool, and that the true value lay in the leverage it could generate in businesses through efficiency.

So, we develop capacities to generate value solutions and we specialize in building customized technological solutions to generate business impact”, defines Kovalsky.

Kovix, the venture of Nicolás Kovalsky, a young man under 30 who surprises the world with his technological innovation

Kovix arose

from the trust that a client from the United States gave him

when Nicolás was finishing college at the age of 24.

“He contacted me to improve a system that he had been using for 18 years.

It was the kickoff to embark on what was a first project, which required the management of a team and the delivery that met the demanded quality expectation ”, he recalls.

Just as the inspiration came from the curiosity to know, it also rescues the infinite variables that arouse interest in technology among young people.
