(ANSA) - MILAN, 06 APR - "The cut in funding leaves Milan and the other big cities alone, an attempt has been made to bring the situation to the attention of the government, with amendments to the Budget law, which however have not had any luck, none of these amendments has been approved. Transportation, welfare, school, are left uncovered without the additional resources that are required in Rome".
This was underlined this morning by the mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala.
"The administration of a large city like Milan - he added - is a very complex machine and if there is no money, some services risk being cut".
