REVIEW - The British director signs with her best friend, Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, War Pony. This harsh and phantasmagorical chronicle of the daily life of two young Sioux of Dakota was crowned at Cannes with the Caméra d'Or.

In his early twenties, Bill already has two children from two different companions but tries to hang the American dream by working and raising poodles. With ten years younger on the clock, Matho refines his stature as a kingpin, picks from his father's stock of drugs to better sell it. Winning respectively the Caméra d'or and the Jury Prize. This naturalistic, almost documentary, tinged with magical realism and esoteric signs, of well-meaning galleys facing centuries of dispossession and marginalization, revealed an amazing duo of directors: the actress and granddaughter of Elvis Presley, Riley Keough (Daisy Jones and The Six) and the author of music videos and advertising Gina Gammell.
