Highlights: CBS has retired three of its series, there is room for something new in the program. In the coming season, the network will fill the vacant program slots with four quite different new series projects. Of the four pilots commissioned, only the comedy series JumpStart was not ordered by CBS during the Upfronts. The format is scheduled to premiere in the upcoming 2023/2024 TV season, i.e. in autumn at the earliest, and at the beginning of next year at the latest.

The channel relies on a reunion with a fan favorite, on a father-son comedy as well as a lone wolf and on the remake of a series classic. Tracker

In the drama series "Tracker", which was initially supposed to be called "The Never Game", the loner Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley, "This Is Us") takes center stage. He travels all over the country to help police solve crimes and private individuals search for missing people, using his unmatched survival skills to make his way through the wilderness. Colter tries to escape his own family pain with his unusual job.

The series is based on the novel "The Never Game" by Jeffery Deaver and was ordered back in December 2022. Hartley is also on board as an executive producer. Also in the ensemble: Mary McDonnell ("Major Crimes"), Robin Weigert ("Jessica Jones"), Abby McEnany ("Work in Progress"), Eric Graise ("Step Up: High Water") and Fiona Rene ("Fire Country"). The format is scheduled to premiere in the upcoming 2023/2024 TV season, i.e. in autumn at the earliest, and at the beginning of next year at the latest.
