Bergkirchen - A 57-year-old man from Groebenzell died in an accident on Monday.
The man was cycling on Kreisstraße 5 and was hit by a car.
On Monday afternoon around 4 p.m. the cyclist from Gröbenzell was on the road from Günding to Bergkirchen.
As the Dachau police announced in the evening, he was hit from behind by a 49-year-old car driver from Bergkirchen.
The rescue workers deployed found the man's death at the scene of the accident.
An accident analysis report was ordered to clarify the exact course of the accident.
Kreisstraße 5 was closed for four hours between Bergkirchen and Günding.
