(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, DECEMBER 17 - In the autumn of 2021 Bologna will host the G20 of religions. This was announced by Professor Alberto Melloni, secretary of the Foundation for Religious Sciences Giovanni XXIII who will organize the event. On the day of Reading Dossetti, with the lectio magistralis of the philosopher Salvatore Natoli, Melloni took stock of the activities of the Foundation which for some months now has a new president, Alessandro Pajno, former president of the Council of State. In June 2020, Bologna will also host the annual conference of the European Academy of Religion, held every other year in Italy or abroad. And the following year, the Interfaith Forum will be one of the events of the G20. "We will ask some great figures of the Italian and international scene to intervene on the new paradigm of plural society, migration and change," explained Melloni.
