Di Maio will hold an urgent briefing on the situation in Iran, Iraq and Libya next Wednesday at 4pm.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte had a telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rohani. "The situation in the region, especially in light of the latest developments, and the state of bilateral relations have been at the center of the conversation", reads a note from Palazzo Chigi.
