A passenger who was traveling by plane from Alitalia from Rome to Buenos Aires, died on Monday morning in Porto Alegre, Brazil , after decompensating in mid-flight. The aircraft had made an emergency stop in that city after the tribulation on board could not resuscitate the man.
The victim, 77, was a native of Rome and was traveling with her grandson of age, when he suffered a heart problem . According to passengers on the same flight, at first the young man gave him a medicine to rest, but when they were close to Brazil, the man returned to decompensate. "

"The crew implemented the current protocol and, as it could not solve it on the flight, decided to descend in Porto Alegre. There was an ambulance waiting. Paramedics entered and we realized that something was happening because at 10 or 15 minutes we saw that they entered firefighters too. It was a fatal outcome. When Brazilian doctors found that the man was lifeless as a result of a heart problem, his body was taken down at the airport by firefighters.
The aircraft had departed Sunday night from Rome and planned to arrive at Ezeiza International Airport at 7.55. He finally arrived at his destination after 10 in the morning, but without the deceased man and his grandson, who stayed in Brazil.
