A stormy start. Monday, the first courses of France Televisions proposed to the pupils confined because of epidemic of coronavirus made packed rooms. On France 4, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., a little more than a million viewers followed the educational program for the primaries, or 16% of the public. Among them, almost 500,000 children between 4 and 10 years old. This represents at this time, more than half of viewers (53%) of this age group.

A little later in the day, at 2 p.m., 840,000 people (6% of the public), including 238,000 young people between the ages of 11 and 14, also turned on their television sets to watch a course dedicated this time to college students. Finally, in the middle of the afternoon, a version for high school students of this new device was viewed by 440,000 viewers (3.7% of the audience). Overall, more than two million viewers, big or small, went to school on Monday ... Thanks to television.
