Quarantine in Sardinia traced with an App

An advanced IT platform, on the Korean and Chinese model, to defend the status of "happy" Island: from the point of view of epidemiological diffusion, Sardinia is in fact the fourth-last region in Italy with about 360 infections and 12 victims ascertained so far.
All the IT staff was involved to create a product that currently allows you to monitor the mandatory quarantine and geo-referencing the movements of the 26,127 people who entered Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency, before and after the ministerial decree. This includes the non-resident "fugitives" who occupied the second houses by the sea, but also the returned Sardinians. The system is capable of keeping the situation under control minute by minute, common by municipality, with approximation up to the house number.
The app is called Covid 19 Sardinia Region, already downloadable on android and in a couple of days on Ios. Those who arrived on the island have already been able to use it to fill in the form where to indicate the domicile in which to spend the quarantine period. Thirty thousand questions are currently mappable in the computer system. As long as a government decree does not allow the processing of health data, it will not be possible to ask positives or travelers to inform every day through the app about any symptoms but in the meantime, pursuant to the decree law of 9 March for the strengthening of the health service national in relation to the Covid-19 emergency, it is already possible to request consent to geolocation.
The details will be shared with the prefectures and the epidemiological offices of regional health, so as to verify whether these subjects actually respect home isolation, but also to identify - if it should increase the number of infections - any cluster areas in which a particular concentration is found. positive or asymptomatic.
