(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 11 - A super-fast process for bars and restaurants in Rome to obtain public land occupation for tables: 24 hours to get the go ahead and a 35% increase in the outdoor spaces in concession. It is the plan to which, according to what is learned, the mayor Virginia Raggi is working. The offices of the Capitol are preparing a measure to simplify and speed up the procedures as much as possible. The goal is therefore to grant authorizations in a day to facilitate the resumption of catering activities which in phase 2 are required to respect the distance between the tables which inevitably leads to the drastic reduction of seats at the covered. The mayor had already announced its intention to increase the concession of public land by 35% compared to the space already occupied by the premises. Now work is also underway on the process that can speed up the procedures to the maximum in order to arrive at a maximum of 24 hours for authorization.
