Three years have passed since the terrible attack in Manchester, but Ariana Grande does not forget that day nor her victims.

On May 22, 2017, in the United Kingdom, thousands of Ariana Grande fans had a terrifying experience at the end of the concert offered by the singer at Manchester Arena. And it is that a strong explosion in the place left a total of 22 dead and hundreds of wounded.

Those events left a mark on the heart of the pop singer, who on Wednesday used her Instagram account to send a message of solidarity.

"I want to take a moment to acknowledge and send my love to all who feel the sadness and tremendous heaviness of the anniversary that is coming this week. Not a day goes by that this does not affect you or all of us. I will be thinking about you all week and weekend, "wrote the 26-year-old artist.

"My heart, thoughts, prayers are always with you," he added in his Stories.

Following the Manchester terror attack, Ariana Grande temporarily suspended her world tour.

At that time, the representative of the interpreter, Scooter Braun , assured through a statement: "We cry for the lives of children and loved ones that this cowardly act has been carried out. We ask all of you to support the victims, their families and all those affected from the heart and with their prayers. "

For her part, through Twitter, Ariana said she was "devastated". "From the bottom of my heart: I am so sorry. I have no words," he wrote.

It was certainly a very difficult time for the artist, who later admitted that she suffered from anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Without a doubt the music helped Grande to overcome all her pain, in 2018 she wrote and released the song “No Tears Left to Cry”, of which she mentioned that it was a hymn to resume her life after the anguish of that day, in addition the singer said she was still seeking balance in her life after the tragedy. "On May 22, 2017 she will leave me speechless and full of questions for the rest of my life," she confessed in a letter released on social networks.

In the summer of 2019, Ariana returned to Manchester to headline the gay pride festival in that city. That was her first performance there, since she herself co-organized a massive concert to benefit and as a tribute to the victims and survivors of the attack, which managed to reactivate $ 13 million.

Over the years, Ariana has honored the memory of all victims. Last year, for example, the singer went to the Stories section of her Instagram account to share an image, in which she only included a bee emoji, which at first glance seemed to have no meaning.

Despite the simplicity of the image, media like E! News explained that the representation of the small insect symbolizes Manchester, as the workers of that city earned the label of "busy bees" during the period of the Industrial Revolution.

That same bee is the one that appeared today at the end of his message, three years after that fateful day. In fact, in 2018, Grande had a tattoo with that significant insect, behind the ear.
